Jacob Molina

Jacob led the league in hits, extra base hits, and RBIs while playing in every one of his team’s games. In his first year as a manager, he led by example. He also became the first player to win an MVP in both pickup (2019) and team (2022) play.

Cy Young Award / The Pedro Martinez Award for Excellence in Pitching

Thomas Rizzotto

Thomas delivered perhaps the greatest pitching performance that many of us have faced in any league. Not allowing an earned run until June, he held an ERA under 1.00 until August and finished with a miniscule ERA of 1.61.

Commissioner's Award For Spirit, Strategy, and Sportsmanship

A recognition award, for those who contribute greatly to the league. It is for those who play in a lot of games, provide coaching tips, encourage their teammates, carry gear, and organize. The Commissioner's Award goes to one of the many deserving of recognition for all the work they do to keep the league great.

Luis Vallejo

Luis brings many years of wisdom to the league. Always willing to help out teammates and opponents alike, his weekly practices are beneficial to all. He plays nearly every game and often fulfills the important task of carrying equipment.

Rawlings Gold Glove - Pitcher

Berto Gutierrez

Berto led all pitchers with 96 innings at the position. Making 6 putouts and 11 assists while committing no errors gave him the edge over last year’s winner, Ruben Molina Sr.

Rawlings Gold Glove - Catcher

Luis Vallejo

Luis led the league with 119 innings caught, 42 more than any other catcher. He held his own behind the dish while managing the star-studded Mets pitching staff.

Rawlings Gold Glove - First Base

Dave Konowitch

Dave won his second gold glove at first base. Unlike last year, he faced significant competition from the likes of Mark Rubin and Ben Lee, but his superior agility likely gave him more putouts to bring home the gold.

Michael Salerno

Michael had the highest combined fielding percentage at second, third and short in 2021, but splitting time among them cost him the awards of any. His continued steadiness up the middle yielded him his first gold glove in 2022.

Rawlings Gold Glove - Third Base

Jordan Molina

After playing most of 2021 in the Rays outfield, Jordan moved to third base for the Angels in 2022. His strong arm and cat-like reflexes helped him narrowly defeat last year’s winner, Benny Suh.

Rawlings Gold Glove - Shortstop

Sam Choi

Winning his second gold glove at short, Sam proves once again it does not take a highlight reel to be recognized. His .928 fielding percentage was best among all short stops, second and third basemen.

Rawlings Gold Glove - Outfielders

Joemar Wilson

Committing no errors with 37 putouts and 3 assists, Joemar took the top spot in this year’s outfield gold glove race after narrowly missing out as the runner up in last year's race.

Jacob Molina

Jacob continued his usual stellar outfield play, winning his second consecutive gold glove. Jacob led the Angels, along with Joemar, Jeremy and Tae Yoon, to the highest team outfield fielding percentage (.955) in league history.

George Ramirez

George narrowly defeated Ryan to round out the outfield gold gloves. It is his fifth consecutive award dating back to pickup baseball, this time patrolling center field for the Athletics. His 3 assists were tied with the other winners for most in the league.

Utility Man of the Year / The José Oquendo Award for Defensive Versatility

Thomas Rizzotto

In addition to his 67 innings on the mound, Thomas spent 47 at short, 28 at third, and 17 in center field. Playing such important positions at a high level helped the Mets run away in the standings.

Most Improved/Comeback Player of the Year

Michael Salerno

Michael had one of the best season improvements ever observed. Doubling his OBP while tripling his slugging gave him a slight edge over teammate Jonathan Suh.

Rookie of the Year

Berto Gutierrez

Berto rose to the top in an extremely competitive race among this year’s rookie class, splitting first place votes nearly equally with Fausto and Emmet. However, a strong showing in second place votes gave him the edge.
