The debut of Bruce (friend of Wilson), who showed up at 9:30 expecting a 10:30 start. The field was being used by little league practice, who claimed to finish by 10:30. They ended up staying until noon. We then got the field set up and a game underway in an impressive 13 minutes.

11 people showed up by 10:30, and everyone but Wilson showed up by 10:45. This was a marked improvement over last week, when only 3 people showed up on time.

Ruben Sr. brought a metal detector in search of ancient relics. I don't think he found anything. John B found a quarter near Ruben without using the detector.
