So today we played the longest game in league history according to the guys who have been playing for awhile. Laura's Luscious Leaguers beat Team Munchkins by scoring two runs in the top of the 11th with back to back triples from brian and cohen. Nick pitched 11 innings, which i guess is the most pitched in league history since this was the longest game.

- Both starting pitchers had never pitched before

- There was a golden and 2 platinum sombreros given out today

- I think we broke the record for most arguments over rules in one game

- For the first time ( I think) both captains were girls, and a putout was made by a girl when another girl was hitting

- Half the people playing scraped/pulled something

- Wilson walked nobody over 6 innings, and the 3 total walks by TM are most likely a league record

- The only home run was hit by Kevin

- Brian is shockingly picked first overall despite hovering just above the mendoza line, then justifies it by being the only one to get 3 hits on his team, and the only one on his team to reach base 4 times.

- One team had two toms in a row in their lineup, and the other had 2 james' in a row

- LLL hit more triples (3) than doubles (1) and home> runs (1) combined

- Both teams had the same number of hits, and the same number of extra base hits, and differed in walks by only one, giving us arguably the most balanced game ever.

- I almost hit Laura.... 7 times

That's all I can think of right now, feel free to throw anything else out there. On a personal note, while I am disappointed I could not come through for my team in the late innings, I had a lot of fun this week and really enjoyed being on the moun.... er.... flat area in the middle of the diamond... for the first time in four years. We've had a great stretch of games lately and I can't wait till next week, I hope to see everyone there
