- David, the new guy, was the victim of both of Mike's hit by pitches. He also grounded out 9-3 at one point. That's some first game (he'll never want to come back).

- Christos claimed that Alvin's tag of him on the failed sacrifice fly in the first inning caused him to play the entire game with one good wrist. If he had both of his wrists he would have hit a home run in the ninth and taken Mike out when he loaded the bases. Two days later Dr. Plakas reported that Christos tore cartilage in his wrist and is out indefinitely.

- There were three unassisted double plays at shortstop (2 by Christos, 1 by Sergio), and one double play by Nick in left field with the bases loaded and nobody out.
