Things to note while playing baseball instead of going to a Terrorist BBQ 2 days before Memorial Day

- Stats for this game (8), were done by Cruzer, and were also sent out before the stats from Game 7. I blame the Rapture or lack thereof.

- With Wilson not available for this game, the foul lines (cones) were placed in a "drunk" fashion. Many times these questions was raised, "Who put these lines down? Where they drunk?"

- CJ returned and brought 4 additional players. Early on they were known as CJ Friend Grey Shirt and CJ Friend Yellow Shirt, only later to be known as Mike and Victor. (Other CJ friends included Angel and Pete)

- In what was close to another "Harris Rule", he was picked off of first base by Paul who lobbed the ball over to first base, to which Mark applied the tag. Harris used the now famous "2 step" phrase. He claimed "I was clearly safe by 2 steps!" This was quick dispute number 1.

- Quick dispute number 2 occurred when Roger laid a bunt down the third base line (down by 20 at the time). As the ball rolled, it was clearly foul (according to the base) but fair according to the "drunk" line. This caused an argument much like the infamous "argument" of 2 weeks ago but this time, the issue was resolved in under a minute as Cruzer's Cyborgs agreed to let Roger have first base (the 16 run lead may have had something to do with it). Mike insists that the quick resolution was because Brian and Christos were not in attendance. Third base was immediately moved to the correct spot instead of waiting 6 innings.

- As Jimmy was brought into pitch in the 7th inning, Mike told his team to be patient and "take pitches" due to this being Jimmy's first time pitching in over a year, and his arm is broken. As soon as Mike yelled his instructions, Alvin swung at the first pitch and hit a little grounder back to the pitcher, which caused Mike to yell louder.

- After Cruzer removed himself from pitching, he stayed on the bench to be the "book keeper" for both teams, since it was a 10 on 10 game. Mike claimed it was "cool".

- Harris made a crazy diving stop at SS to rob Paul in the 7th, which almost turned to a double play. Instead he just got a force out a second, but still, the diving stop up the middle caused everyone to yell in amazement.

- In what could only be called crazy shenanigans, Angel, coming up to bat in the 8th, started the at bat batting lefty. He swung and missed on the first pitch from CJ, and then went back to hitting right handed. Chaos at homeplate.

- Harris returned to the mound after a 7 year absence. This didn't turn out that well as he gave up a hit and 3 walks. He now owns and INF era and INF whip.
