Jose's Palo Palo Ale defeated Thomas' 12 Volt Power Wheel On That Bitch by a score of 20-13. Alejandro brought THE NOISE for the first time in over a year with a grand slam and a winning pitching performance.

Alejandro took his time salsaing to the batter's box and putting on his batting gloves. After all of that, he took two pitches for strikes. He was informed that he was wearing watching gloves. Then he hit a grand slam. No regrets. 

Alejandro had updated his Facebook friends almost immediately of his grand slam and impressive pitching performance during the fourth inning. After walking half of the opposing team to start the fifth and striking out looking to end it, he commented on his own status update of the turn of events. By 11 PM EST the status update was taken down entirely. Presumably he did this to not upstage Mark Zuckerberg's marriage announcement.

But despite being hit by a pitch, Jill Marie by all accounts enjoyed her return to the league.  Cliff, who played one game in 2011 seemed to enjoy himself more, going 2 for 2 with 3 runs batted in with 3 walks.

Cliff and Reese both made five plate appearances and reached base every single time. Unlike Cliff, Reese hit a home run. Unfortunately for Reese, unlike Cliff, he was plunked twice. 

For the first time in league history maybe, a player took advantage of the short porch in right field on the second Peck Park field and hit a home run as a lefty. Wilson's two run blast was the lone dinger for Volt Power Wheel.

Jose almost homered to right off of Slider in the eighth, but the ball went foul. 

The Slider Express Local Trolley lurched its way into the 2012 season. In a two inning, no run three strikeout performance during garbage time it was clear to scouts that Adam hadn't lost any velocity off of his 25 mph fastball. 

Brian and Mike noticed that whenever they are teammates, they lose. Unfortunately they competed together for the fourth consecutive game on Saturday. Mangan's personal record is 1-4 - he hasn't won since captaining his team to an Opening Day victory.

Mike has also played in all five games in the 2012 season. He has lost them all.

Things aren't all bad for the MVP runner-up: this time he remembered to bring his wallet.  Also, since he doesn't have the gear in his trunk for the next two weeks, he has plenty of room for groceries. 

Sergio, Jaytron and Roger are the other three players that still qualify for the perfect attendance pizza party. Sergio and Jaytron are 4-1 (the 1 loss from the Miracle/Who's That Guy affair) and Roger is 3-2.

To answer your next few questions: Mark is 3-1, Cruzer, Matero and Slider are 2-2, Thomas and Wilson are 1-3, Jose and Pat are 2-1, Kevin and CCCC are 1-2 and Alvin is 0-3. 

Palo Palo Ale's lone extra base hits were Alejandro and Reese's home runs, but they were worth seven runs. Unlike their opponent, and despite scoring 20 runs, Palo Palo never never ever ever batted around in an inning.

The Head and Shoulders Flake of the Game award goes to Matero. During the 9th inning his hair still looked amazing, since it wasn't baking in the Queens sun. 

A stranger thought nothing of yelling "Mr. Met" at Roger upon seeing him with a Mets hat and Mets shirt at Wendy's. Mike found this absolutely hilarious, despite repeated protests from Roger to "quit it."

Roger's voice cracked while trying to say "secret game" on the car ride home. Sergio, Kevin, Jose and Mangan all mimicked it in unison. They all found this absolutely hilarious. Roger was appreciative of the fact that Sergio, then Mangan were dropped off to their respective homes, and whether they wanted to or not, quit it. 

Mike, Cruzer and Mangan all proclaimed themselves A-Rod after padding their stats during the ninth inning when their team was down ten runs.

Wilson argued about something involving fair and foul balls and he was totally wrong about it.
