Game 1 started at 11:13am which was darn impressive, and after it was completed in 10 innings it was around 2pm. Game 2 began with 25 people an hour or so later and concluded at approximately 5:45pm. It was unequivocally in terms of time the most successful doubleheader in league history.

Joel was kind enough to bring an amp and pump up the jams. Strangely, after playing a few seconds of 5-6 songs, he decided that a number that deserved to be played in its entirety prior to first pitch was the infamous Staind ballad "It's Been Awhile." "I found my inner warrior while simultaneously feeling my fingers on the pulse of the zeitgeist," said Nobody.

In the 8th, John B's teammates insisted that John B can use a courtesy runner at first base. John B declined.

Kareem not only pitched 8 strong innings but homered in the top of the tenth to win the game for It's Been a While.

Mike and Joel teamed up to rudely never tell Roger where the phrase "I DON'T GET TIRED" comes from.

Davy finished the doubleheader day at 50 hits, tying him for the all-time league record for hits in a season. He will return on August 22nd to presumably break the record and finally become the raging asshole we all assume is lurking inside.

In Game 2, Jacob Fowler came up to bat right handed, even though he had previously exclusively hit left handed. He homered. Life isn't fair.

Both games featured a more than usual amount of double plays turned.

In Game 2, two infield fly rules were recorded in the same inning. Noice.

Mike fouled out to first on a great play by Slider. Mike, in disgust, stood in the baseline in front of home as Slider threw home to throw out the runner tagging up from third. Mike let the ball hit him and the baserunner was called out for interference. While this occurred in the second inning, the play ended up being very consequential since the game was not decided until the tenth inning, and There's a Cat in the Outfield lost.

After he swung at a high fastball, Ruben Sr grunted and said "I love those balls!" in frustration. Somehow, this was not a team name.

Joe Matero stopped by to say hello.

Fernando brought some super duper high tech shades to the game to record his at bats and game plays.
