- After graciously giving Davy some of his delicious 
arroz con pollo, Fausto came up to bat needing just a 
double for the cycle. Unfortunately for Fausto, Davy was 
playing him 250 feet or so deep in left for a chance at 
actually catching a ball. Sure enough, Davy caught a long, 
long, long fly ball by Guzman. Sounding very angry, 
Fausto yelled, "NO MORE ARROZ CON POLLO FOR YOU!" in 
Andrews' general direction. Sergio immediately identified 
it as a future game note.

- Mike was earlier annoyed at a fair ball call and had 
yelled "FOUL BALL" at other times throughout the game in 
jest. This would lead to confusion with two outs in the 
ninth, when umpire Mike jokingly yelled "FOUL BALL!" on a 
five footer hit by Cruzer. Cruzer was subsequently slow 
to run down to first, allowing catcher Alvin to fire it 
to first baseman Slider to end the game.

-Half of the team representing the classy Yankees 
organization did not shake hands after their loss.

- Mark and Jose both believe that the better team on 
paper never wins in our league. Roger just thinks we 
remember those games the most and it just seems that way. 
No matter the case, Roger's strategy of openly 
claiming that his team was inferior throughout the week 
on the email string paid off.

- Cruzer greeted Roger at first with spitting and 
throwing sunflower seeds at him, once managing to get 
one in his ear.

- Cruzer also contemplated out loud the physics of flying 
while fielding first. He kept muttering, "I don't get it. 
They're (planes) so heavy" under his breath.

- CCCC kept live score on the iScore app and we are all 
very impressed and thankful. 

- Christos pretended throughout the week in the emails
to be a Mets fan. Before the game, he was in the Mets fan 
team's dugout, continuing the charade, fooling nobody 
long before he mispronounced Jacob deGrom's last name.
